Welcome to Blue Door Images – where we determine our client’s Uniqueness Quotient – declaring who they are and what they are about. Today’s customers know what they want and they demand high-priority and results. When a business fails to identify how they relate to their customers and clearly define their services and products – the results are flirting with failure.

Many companies believe that their success is based upon the specific products or services alone and the demand for those products or services, but the real foundation for a successful business is determined by other factors. I know I have paid more for services based upon the like-ability factor.

Every time my dry-cleaners raise their price, I don’t change dry-cleaners. I like their drive through service and the way the attendant calls me by name when I pull up. They know my personal preferences concerning folding or hanging garments, and they always seem pleased to see me, and they let me know they look forward to seeing me in the future, as they place my items in the backseat with such great care.

I could purchase produce at a market that is closer to home but I like the market that is located a little out of my way. The market is family owned and they welcome any inquiring about certain varieties of produce, and then they call me when they have it at the market. They ask about my family and they seem genuinely interested in how my day is going. I don’t just buy produce from their market, we engage in a personal relationship while we are supporting each other – my purchases of his produce and their fresh food that feeds my family and guests.

A successful business is not just about low pricing – if that were true then everyone except the person with the lowest prices would be out of business! And that is not the case.

Branding is what your customers think about you and your business. Branding is how they feel about your business. Branding is not to be confused with brand identity, which is your logo, your color theme, your brochures – knowing the difference is often the first step that separates you from your competition.

Blue Door Images’ newest program, Brand for One, establishes a brand for individuals or people who are their business. Writers are in this category. They are a special group of people who need to establish themselves with the outside world.

People want to know who they are, what they think about, where they are from, and how they write. People want to read the writings of writers that they find interesting. When writers fail to make a personal connection with people they are making a huge business mistake. Why would you seek out to read the musings of a writer if you knew nothing about them or the kind of things they are interested in or what they write about? You wouldn’t is the answer!

Brand for One also is geared toward the needs of people who know the value of standing out in today’s competitive marketplace. When they are in competition for that special position, it is imperative to leave the interviewer with a positive impression about your IQ and not guessing about your UQ or Uniqueness Quotient. If you are unsure of what makes you stand head-and-shoulders above others then how can you convey to an employer that you are the right choice?

Brand for One will not leave you wondering about your UQ. Visit our Web site and contact Blue Door Images for more information.
